One thing we commonly run across as we handle claims involves content losses in a tenant/landlord relationship. Most landlords have purchased property insurance to protect them financially if a catastrophe occurs. However, most often, renters have no coverage for their contents which are also affected by the loss. Whether fire, smoke or water damage, the loss of contents can be significant.
