Champion's Fans

"Mr. Jim Clark was my point of contact with Champion; he was courteous, professional and extremely helpful. It was a pleasure doing business with him. The members of all of the crews, water removal/drying, carpet layers and packers were courteous, professional, arrived on time, and completed work in a timely manner. In addition, they were friendly. We are very pleased with Champion's response and work and I will gladly recommend Champion to others. I will express my satisfaction with Champion to USAA." - Water Damage in Fayetteville, GA

"I have never been as impressed with a great group of young men. Very professional, efficient and knowledgeable of their line of work. Considering the age of my crew; they out-performed the middle and older aged men I have worked with in similar job requests. Thank you!!! Big kudos to Colby...loved this kid!!!" - Water Damage in Ellenwood, GA

"The crew was super courteous and professional. They also showed a level of compassion that was an unexpected surprise. They also took the extra step to explain every step." - Water Damage in Jonesboro, GA

"If I hadn't seen the damage beforehand, afterwards I wouldn't have know it had occurred. Great group of people both repairing and managing the crews." - Water Damage in Peachtree City, GA

Hill Country Trail Race at Serenbe 15K

Well here is a brief update on my venture into the world of running. Last Saturday I ran the Hill Country Trail Race at Serenbe 15K  and it was AMAZING. The paths were beautiful, just stunning. The scenery was....awesome. But the terrain was tough. It was mostly on hiking paths with steep inclines, through pastures and woods, parts were muddy and over a slippery riverbed. It was really special that at mile markers 2 and 4 there were muscians playing. At mile 2 there was a man in a kilt playing the bagpipes. And at mile 4 there was a musician playing the saxophone.  I can't tell you what an unexpected delight it is to run through the woods hearing the Jason Mraz song, "I'm Yours" echo through the trees. It's pretty stinkin' cool! I will def do this race again next year! Here is a youtube video of the entire path. It's fast-forwarded but it's pretty neat!

I have to admit, I was scared to death about this race.  It was very intimidating. But having so thoroughly enjoyed it, I guess I'll have to stick to my original plan of running in the 6th Annual Clearwater Halfathon in Florida in January. Although 13 miles sounds pretty scary!

Peachtree City Classic - We did it!

Alright! So just a brief update on my attempt to become a runner. Saturday October 16th Zach and I ran our first race. I guess technically it is a race. In my mind, I am just running... not racing. That being said, it was a lot of fun! The race was very well organized thanks to the Peachtree City Running Club and we got really cool shirts for participating. I ran the 5k in 31 minutes and Zach ran the 15k in 1 hour 22 minutes.
