How to Check Your Roof for Leaks

Many people are concerned they may have a leaky roof but don't have the ability to go up on the roof to check it out. How can you check your roof for leaks without going on the roof? Here are few tips:

Look for water spots in the interior of your home. Look for grayish or dark spots on the ceiling and in the corners.
Go into your attic while it is raining and look to see if dripping water is entering your home. While you are up there, look for water spots or rotten wood.
Check your light fixtures for water.
