The Busiest Month Yet

There has been a lot going on here at Champion in the past month. But I think that September was the busiest month I have ever had!
To start off the month of September, I married my beautiful fiance' Angelica. The final week of planning, stressing, working, working, and more working was truly a bear. For example, September 3rd, the day before the wedding, was especially busy. We set up the reception hall and had rehearsal. All seemed OK. That is until I picked up my tuxedo and realized that there was no necktie with it.... So I ran from store to store and could not find a suitable tie. After all the stores closed I had to call it a night without a tie. I went back to the reception hall and we finished up around 12:30. The next morning, I woke up bright and early on the quest to find a tie. I was very fortunate that the first store I walked in had the perfect tie. The wedding and reception went off without a hitch! The highlight was after our dances with our parents, I surprised Angelica with a song (lip synching of course...). The song was Anthony Hamilton, "Point of it All". That was the only time she cried all day. All the planning made the wedding day a huge success! It could not have gone any better!
Now that the wedding was over, it was back to business. Where were we going to stay? Well, mixed in among wedding plans, honeymoon plans and work was housing plans. The week after the wedding, we closed on our beautiful new house. It took a lot of time and patience though. There were several curve balls thrown our way, but we were able to successfully close on the house. Sounds nice... doesn't it? It was... except we were supposed to leave for our cruise on Thursday, Sept 9th. Closing was pushed back to Friday, Sept 10th..... So Friday morning I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed and closed on the house. We then packed up and headed to sunny Ft. Lauderdale. Please believe I needed the vacation!
We arrived in Ft Lauderdale at about 2 am. The ship left on Saturday afternoon. We were on the Royal Caribbean"Grandeur of the Seas". It was a beautiful ship. The food, atmosphere, activities, the crew members, the and cleanliness of the ship were extraordinary! Our first stop was Key West. We kind of slept through that port. We woke up with enough time to eat lunch at a nice, little Cuban restaurant. The food was very good. The next port was Cozumel, Mexico. We went snorkeling on 3 reefs. It was spectacular! The water was crystal clear and the fish were everywhere! (Not great for someone afraid of fish like my wife LOL. This was evident in the underwater picture.) We both had a great time though... The last port was Coco cay. It was the most restful day of the trip. We just slept on the beautiful beach and stared out at the turquoise water. On the way back, we stopped in Orlando. We went to Universal Studios. It was different then what I remember when I was little but was still a lot of fun! Unfortunately the park closed at 6 so we couldn't use our "park hopper passes" to the full. We spent most of the day in Universal Studios. Then we ran around and tried to ride as many rides as we could in an hour and a half at Islands of Adventure.
All in all, the busiest month was also one of the best months in my life. I am now happily married and I am a happy, rested homeowner. Well I was... We are currently painting and fixing up the house. Back to work for me, but I will never forget the busiest month yet!
PS: Pictures will be posted soon... hopefully
